Audrey Schroeder, LMSW, CTC-SW

About

Audrey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, having earned her Master of Social Work from Spring Arbor University. She is a certified trauma therapist. Audrey’s experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups in community-based as well as inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. Her work, prior to entering private practice, focused on community mental health and substance abuse recovery and inpatient psychiatric services. In private practice she treats mental health concerns related to depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustments/life transitions, relational problems, school/work difficulties, women’s issues, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, parenting difficulties and family conflict.

As a clinician, Audrey embraces a strengths-based perspective, and borrows from many different theory bases for psychotherapy in aiming to understand and meet the individual needs of each person and of each family. These theories include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused, reality-based, mindfulness-based, logotherapy and family systems theories. Techniques that she utilizes may include dialogue, psycho education, relaxation, reframing of negative thoughts, positive decision-making, role-play, mindfulness or writing/art exercises.

Serina, Clinical Social Worker

Serina is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, having earned her Master of Social Work from University of Toledo in 2019. Serina’s work experience includes working with individuals of all ages in community based, as well as inpatient and outpatient settings. Prior to starting private practice, her primary work was and still is focused in community mental health.  She is trauma informed and in the process of becoming trauma certified within the next several months. 

In private practice Serina works with individuals age 17+ and treats mental health concerns related to depression, anxiety, adjustment/life transitions, school/work difficulties, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, parenting difficulties, and family/spouse conflict.

Serina offers a person-centered approach which allows you to tailor your treatment to your individual needs and goals. While working together she utilizes techniques from CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy; with a great deal of focus on mindfulness and self-compassion. Techniques that she utilizes may include psychoeducation, reframing of negative thoughts, teaching healthy coping skills, encouraging mindfulness, self-compassion, and gratitude through discussions together, as well as through journaling, writing, and/or art exercises. 

Serina can help you recognize that difficulties with your mental health is not the result of weakness. She believes that together you can break through the stigma so the burden of shame is lifted, and healing can occur.

Kelly, LLMSW

Kelly is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, having earned her Masters of Social Work from Saint Louis University through a cohort with Lourdes University. Kelly’s experience includes working with individuals age 18 and up in community based mental health inpatient and outpatient settings. While working in a community based mental health setting, Kelly also led and acted as a co-facilitator for group therapies in stress management and women’s issues. Prior to starting private practice, her primary work was focused on elder care, assisting seniors to live independently for as long as possible. She educated seniors on nutrition, physical exercise to decrease fall risk, and memory engagement activities. Kelly has medical social work experience in hospice care in the inpatient setting. Through hospice she gained knowledge and education to assist families and caregivers through the bereavement process. 

In private practice she treats mental health concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, school/work difficulties, women’s issues, grief and loss, adjustment/life transitions, parenting difficulties, and family/spouse conflicts, and has experience working with substance abuse issues. As a clinician, Kelly utilizes many different theory based psychotherapy to tailor the therapy treatments to each individual’s needs and goals.

Jerri, LMSW, CAACD, CCS

In the 27 years I’ve been a Social Worker, I’ve gained experience in various settings including outpatient, residential, and outreach.  I’ve worked as a case manager, a therapist, and a supervisor.  I have extensive practice in substance abuse, trauma recovery, and women-specific treatment.  I strive to provide a space where you can feel comfortable talking about your concerns and empowered to overcome them.

Tina Elliott, LCSW, CAGCS

Tina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, having earned her Master of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a certified advanced grief counseling specialist. Tina’s experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and groups in community-based as well as inpatient and outpatient settings. Prior, to private practice, her primary work was focused on community mental health. 

She treats mental health concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, mood disorders, women’s issues, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  

Tina understands transitions in life and the challenges it brings, with feelings of anxiety and depression. She specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy to assist clients in understanding how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. She works along side her clients to create goals based on individual needs. While working together she utilizes Evidence-based practice techniques of CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness. She specializes in Grief and Loss to support clients with processing and coping with loss.

Hannah Halsey, LLMSW

Hannah is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker, who earned her Master’s degree from Spring Arbor University in 2024. She brings a diverse range of experience to her practice, having worked with individuals across the lifespan—from children to older adults. Hannah began her career supporting the elderly in home care and long-term care settings before transitioning into roles focused on youth and families through foster care systems and community mental health services.

Hannah currently offers services to individuals ages 6 to 32, providing empathetic and developmentally appropriate support to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families as they navigate life’s challenges and grow together. She is particularly passionate about helping young people navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, social pressures, relationship struggles, and major life transitions.

With a strong commitment to fostering resilience and emotional well-being, Hannah uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, build positive
coping strategies, and grow into their fullest potential.

Hannah is known for her empathy, advocacy, and deep understanding of the complex challenges facing today’s youth and young adults. She remains dedicated to ongoing learning and professional development in order to best support her clients and their families.

Tennery Hicks, LMSW-C

Tennery is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, having earned her Master of Social Work degree from Spring Arbor University in 2021. Tennery has experience working with individuals from many different walks of life. She began her career working with older adults, assisting with establishing and maintaining care that provided these individuals with the ability to live independently. Prior to starting private practice, Tennery’s primary focus has been working with individuals from ages 4-15 years old in a community based mental health setting. While working in this setting, she has dealt with individuals experiencing trauma, homelessness, grief and loss, and other behavioral issues. She has assisted individuals with learning many different techniques including anger management, coping skills, communication skills, problem solving techniques, conflict resolution, and impulse control. Tennery is also in the process of obtaining certification in substance abuse with a focus on adolescents and teens.
In private practice, Tennery treats mental health concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, trauma history, adjustment/life transitions, school difficulties, LGBTQ+ struggles, and self-esteem issues. She utilizes many different approaches including Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Patient Centered therapy, Brief Solution-Focused therapy, Supportive therapy, Play therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. While working together, Tennery may utilize techniques that include reframing of negative thoughts, teaching healthy coping skills, encouraging mindfulness, and adapting/modifying impulse control skills.
Tennery understands many of the different variables of life and the complicated factors that can impact an individual’s mental health. Tennery believes in assisting others in prioritizing mental health; she recognizes how important it is for an individual to feel heard. Through providing validation of life experiences, reassurance, and understanding, Tennery hopes to be able to alleviate the burden many carry on their shoulders daily so that healing can begin.

Andrea Tucker, LPC, CCTP, CAADC, CCS-DP

Andrea is a Licensed Professional Counselor, having earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a certified clinical trauma professional and an advanced alcohol and drug counselor.

Andrea’s experience includes working with adolescents, adults and groups in outpatient settings. She is an EMDR trained therapist who tailors her approach to fit the best needs of her clients. While working together she utilizes evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Andrea creates space for uninhibited self-expression, growth, healing, and empowerment.

Melissa Clay, LMSW

Melissa is a licensed clinical social worker, having earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Toledo in 2007. Melissa’s experience includes working with children, adults, and families. Melissa also specializes in assisting youth and adults who live with intellectual and developmental challenges at home, in school, or in their community.

In private practice, Melissa treats mental health concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma history, adjustment to life transitions, school difficulties, self-esteem and relationship issues. By combining proven therapy approaches, and out of the box problem solving, Melissa will tailor therapy treatments to each individual’s needs while providing a safe and encouraging space to share.
